breathwork has been practiced for thousands of years in many cultures and traditions. simply stated, it is intentionally controlling your breathing for a purpose. there are many forms of breathwork.
the form of breathwork that we practice is active. it brings you into your body and creates a state of non-ordinary consciousness where you have the opportunity to process suppressed and repressed emotions and pain. it may help you find deep clarity and insights.
this breathwork helps you remember what many of us have been socialized to forget. every emotion is there for a reason. it is energy in motion. it is meant to move through you, not be bottled up to fester. you are worthy, you are worth it, you deserve to let it go.
it is an active practice of turning toward and allowing your body to feel and process. it helps reduce the charge in your nervous system so you are less on guard and more of you available to experience presence and connection and joy.
